The different refractory castables components

    The Refractory Castables in the porcelain calcining furnace are made by the method of casting or using the specialized compressor. Then these Refractory Castables are sintered in very high temperature. However, this method makes the production cost expensive. It is not only difficult to satisfy the compound requirements but also not flexible if people want to change the size of products.

    The Novaref’s experts have studied and applied successfully the refractory castables Novacast-45MUL and Novacast-45COR. These two kinds contain the two main mineral compositions which are mulit and cordierite (these two components make the thermal stability for products). The particle size is under optimal control and the self-flow flexibility makes it easy to cast. The Refractory Castables products are casted exactly in the designed steel molds. The stripping will be conducted in 24 hours after the casting. Then the products will be immediately burned in the porcelain calcining furnace and there is no need to be sintered any more.

    This method helps to reduce the cost for the refractory castables components in furnace. Besides, it is easy and flexible to produce the different sizes, specifications and models.

    The refractory castables in kiln such as U-cassettle, linings, pillars,...made from Novacast-45MUL and Novacast-45COR are used in the ceramics factories and the building units in the past four years without cracking.
